The battle between arch rivals India and Pakistan on the field is always special. Cricket lovers across the World wouldn’t mind taking a break to catch the live action of the Two Nations and the excitement only gets doubled if its a World Cup match.

Its for the 6th Time, India played against Pakistan in the World Cup tournament and Team India had an upper hand over the opponents in all the occasions to maintain a record of (6-0). The Ad Revenue of India Vs Pakistan match on February 15th this year is anywhere between Rs 100-110 crore and 288 million viewers across the World have watched the match. About 93 Brands have been associated with Star Network alone for this particular match. Few other Brands came on board as sponsors on the Doordarshan feed.

On Star Network, The price tag of an Ad was Rs 25 lakh per 10 seconds for the standard feed (SD) and Rs 16-18 lakh per 10 seconds for the HD feed. Whereas, The Regional Feed price tag is around Rs 1.5 lakh per 10 seconds for Ind-Pak World Cup match.

Star Network’s Standard Feed alone fetched a revenue of Rs 50 crore. The other revenue has come from HD Feed, Regional Feed and DD Feed.

The Ad Revenue for other World Cup matches is around Rs 15 crore per match. That itself is a proof of immense craze for India-Pakistan clash!
